Quadruple platinum, JUNO Award winning Canadian singer/songwriter, Preston Pablo releases new remix, “Dance Alone” with Qing Madi and Nonso Amadi via 31 East / Republic Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.

Fresh off a USA tour supporting fellow Canadian, Jon Vinyl, with stops in LA, New York, Atlanta, Chicago and more, Preston continues his momentum with this new remix. Posting a call out on social media, here, Preston asked fans who they’d like to have collab on the track.

When ‘Dance Alone’ first came out, so much of the traction was coming from Africa, so I’m super pumped to be able to put out this afrobeats version of the track,” says Preston. “This song has always felt global to me so having this kind of remix is very exciting. I met Nonso a while back and have been a big fan ever since, so to now have him and Qing Madi, who is incredible, part of this remix is so cool. I can’t wait for the fans to hear this!”

With his honest lyrics and an R&B melody, the emerging artist released, “Love You Bad”, closing 2022 by showcasing his ability to cross genres. Last year was a banner year for Preston, with the rising chart success of his major label debut “Flowers Need Rain” with multi-platinum producer-songwriters Banx & Ranx. The quadruple platinum-selling single currently has over 108.3M global streams and has reached a Top 5 spot at Top 40 and Top 10 at Hot AC and Mainstream AC. “Flowers Need Rain” was recently the #1 most Shazamed track in Canada, and achieved multiple global Viral Top 50 Spotify playlist adds (such as Germany, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and more). Nonso Amadi is a Juno-nominated, Canadian-based singer, songwriter, and producer from Nigeria. Beginning his musical career while studying engineering in Nigeria at Covenant University and then Swansea University in the UK. Nonso transformed into a sonic-globetrotter after his move to Canada – leading him to fuse the soul & rhythm of African music with modern soft textures of R&B.
