UPCOMING ALBUM LUCID DREAMS OUT OCTOBER 6TH

CURRENTLY ON NORTH AMERICAN HEADLINE TOUR

PRE-ORDER/PRE-SAVE LUCID DREAMS HERE

Platinum-Certified singer, songwriter, and producer BoyWithUke shares a catchy new single entitled “Migraine” out now via Mercury Records/Republic Records/Universal Music Canada. It paves the way for the arrival of his forthcoming new album, Lucid Dreams, out October 6th.

On the new track, BoyWithUke said: “I wrote ‘Migraine’ about how I have been feeling this past year. I’ve been feeling a bit suffocated, with people telling me what I should and shouldn’t do. I just want to do what I want to do.”

BoyWithUke’s signature ukulele sets the tempo, as a head-nodding beat gives way to open-hearted lyrics. He pours emotion into the verses and paints a picture with the hook, “Hop off the highway, I’ve been having migraines. I’ve been waiting for a while, have it my way.” The hummable whistling only brightens up the mood further with a sunny send-off.

Migraine” remains neurotically infectious, and it illuminates yet another side of this masked alternative pop wonder.

It also arrives on the heels of his most honest and vulnerable song to date titled “Trauma”— listen HERE and watch the music video HERE. Beyond over 6 million Spotify streams and 4 million YouTube views on the music video, he returned to Genius to discuss the tune in-depth. BoyWithUke explained the inspiration and meaning behind the track in his most personal interview to date—watch HERE.

He recently unveiled the first episode of his “Origins” story titled “Tobi”—watch HERE. The video begins with a young BoyWithUke in his childhood bedroom, who’s dealing with bullies and family issues. Feeling defeated, he puts on his infamous glowing mask and introduces viewers to Tobi—his naysaying inner voice that embodies all of his negative thoughts. Tobi’s criticism inspires BoyWithUke to pick up his ukulele and start strumming the opening chords of what would later become his breakout hit “Toxic.” The “Origins” story continued with the second episode, “Lucid,” out now—watch HERE and stay tuned for the third episode to drop next week.

The forthcoming Lucid Dreams album encapsulates in BoyWithUke’s words: “my desires, my fears, my past, and my dreams.” He continues, “Like The Odyssey, Lucid Dreams is the culmination of my personal journey so far. Each song is like a different step on the path. I’m facing past traumas, making the music I want to make, and figuring out who I am. The album is BoyWithUke blossoming, spreading his wings, and finding himself.” In creating the album, he wrote, recorded, and produced a majority of the new songs without any collaborators in just a three-week period.

Earlier this month, BoyWithUke kicked off his biggest North American headline tour yet in Houston, TX at House of Blues. The tour will continue to stop in major cities, including Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, then it concludes on October 3rd in Phoenix, AZ at Van Buren, with Naethen Apollo opening. Prior to the North American leg, BoyWithUke sold out shows across Asia, Australia, and Europe. See the list of upcoming tour dates below. Tickets are available at www.boywithukemusic.com.
