NEW ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER

Multidisciplinary artist Yeek shares his new single “ETA2” featuring LA rap duo Paris Texas via Stem. The new song, his first offering following a series of amorphous singles including the UKG-inspired “Freaky (RGB),” defines the restless nature he approaches his music with.

ETA2,” the sequel to “ETA” from Valencia, is simultaneously referential to the fuzzy alternative guitars of his early music, and a forward-looking collaboration on the bleeding edge of indie rock and LA rap. Known for creating an amalgam of the various subcultures and communities he’s been part of over the course of his life with his music, “ETA2” is Yeek’s introduction to the next chapter of his career and the first taste of his next full-length project coming soon.

Following his Coachella debut last year, “ETA2” underscores a defining new moment in Yeek’s continued rise. Across his first two albums and two EPs, the L.A.-based singer-songwriter handled producing, recording, mixing, and mastering by himself due to the connectivity between the music and the bevy of experiences and influences he picked up living across New Jersey, Florida and LA.

With Valencia, Yeek opened himself up to collaboration more than ever before, working alongside mixing engineer Jeff Ellis (Frank Ocean, Snoh Aalegra, Omar Apollo) to create what’s been regarded as his most fully-realized body of work, along with channeling the record into the visual medium with its accompanying short film h.a.w.a.i.i..
