Norwegian Pop/R&B singer-songwriter and producer Trevis returns with his new single “So I Can Sleep Sound” linking with platinum-selling West London collective WSTRN, released 11 th August.

So I Can Sleep Sound” follows the previous cut “Company For Now” (Remix) featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Eric Bellinger and renowned British artist Angel. The track received notable support from DJs DJ Target and DJ Ace on BBC Radio 1Xtra, as well as Manny Norte on Capital XTRA. Both singles are taken from “Floor Plan 2.0” released 15th September,  the forth-coming rework of his 2022 debut EP “Floor Plan”.

Delving into the process and inspiration behind “So I Can Sleep Sound,” Trevis reveals his personal connection to the song’s lyrics; “I produced, wrote and recorded Sleep Sound in LA with my boy Able Heart. It was instantly one of my toughest beats and the vocal melodies just felt right. As soon as I got back to London we tapped on WSTRN to hop on it. “I’ve never written a song that speaks so directly to how I’ve felt before. Every line in the chorus is hand- picked from things I wrote to this girl.”

Singer-songwriter and producer Trevis was raised in Norway and LA before he moved to London. From age five, he trained to be a professional football player and by his early teens trained with the Manchester United youth academy, which unfortunately ended in injury. After two years struggling with his mental health, music was the light at the end of the tunnel. He relocated to California, where he found his way to the studios of UK super-producer Harmony Samuels and the BOE Camp. Responsible for hits with Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Machine Gun Kelly, Fifth Harmony, and many more, Trevis would sit at the back of Harmony’s studio sessions, listening and watching top-tier musicians in their space and dissecting the formula of how to bring the best out in that creative moment. Inspired and educated, Trevis found that creating his own music became his therapy and a healthy outlet to express himself.

On his debut, Trevis has accumulated over 17 Million TikTok views and counting as well as 22,000+ fan videos online. Trevis was recently featured on the BBC Radio 1 Future Artists list and received 16 weeks of support from BBC Radio 1Xtra for several songs from the “Floor Plan EP”. Under his previous artist name Sivert Tinius and as Trevis, his music has been streamed over 9 million times.
