The Italian-Congolese artist moved to the UK at the age of 20 to pursue their dream of creating music.

Working through childhood and racial trauma through their creativity, Sans Soucis has often tackled these subjects within their work, with previous EP ‘On Time For Her’ following the arc of them moving from a personal limbo to reuniting with their authentic self.

Newest release ‘I Know Your Present’ is no different, providing listeners with a brave vulnerability that is associated with their sound. A nod to their relationship with their sister, Sans Soucis explains: “”I know your present and I know your future” [the lyric] means “I know how you are feeling and I know it’s not going to be like this for the rest of your life. There will be brighter days, if you don’t give up on yourself.””

A sleek house/pop cut that allows their vocals to shine, Sans Soucis continues: “This is a letter I wrote to myself and my sister whom I share a difficult childhood with. Experiencing some of the darker shades of life from a very young age shaped the way we see the world and the way we experience our relationship. We both came to terms with the fact that we needed help in our lives and this is a reminder of when we found the courage to ask for it.’”
