POP NEWCOMER FROM SOUTH LONDON SAMIRA UNLEASHES EDGY DANCE-POP BANGER “LIKE THIS, LIKE THAT”.

Pop newcomer Samira is carving a lane of her own to become Britain’s new ‘Queen of Clubs’. Today, with the release of her debut solo single ‘Like This, Like That’, the South London singer-songwriter makes her official foray into the pop world with the edgy, dance-pop banger.

Already armed with a UK TOP 5 CLUB HIT and OVER 4 MILLION STREAMS, this is SAMIRA’s official debut solo single.

Like This, Like That’ hears Samira’s warm, sultry vocals wrap around a wall of icy synths backed by a bass-heavy house beat. The track is co-written by Samira with Cutfather, who also produced the track and previously worked with Kylie Minogue and The Pussycat Dolls.

Samira said: “I had such an incredible time writing this song in Copenhagen with Cutfather and his team. As soon as I heard the final version I knew it had to be my first solo release, it’s so me! It’s dark, sexy and mysterious – a real statement of intent, and the perfect track to show the world who I am as an artist”.

Last year saw Samira quietly ease her way into the music industry with the feel-good summer hit ‘I Love Your Smile’, a cover of the 90s Shanice classic and a collaboration with dance collective W.D.C., which amassed over 4 million streams and reached Top 5 on the UK Club Chart. The inescapable dance track spent 16 days on Spotify UK’s Daily Viral Chart and also gave the aspiring popstar her first taste of daytime BBC Radio 1 support.

Inspired by bona fide performers like Rihanna, Britney Spears and Tinashe, Samira is a triple-threat entertainer to watch for. After years honing her craft in the studio and on stage at the West End; the singer-songwriter, dancer and actress will be stepping into the spotlight in a big way this year with a string of dance-pop bangers that are sure to soundtrack countless parties this summer.

Samira has spent the last 18 months in the studio, writing with some of the industry’s biggest hitmakers including Tre-Jean Marie (Little Mix, FLO), Cutfather (Demi Lovato, The Pussycat Dolls), Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran), Ryan Ashley (H.E.R., Anne-Marie), Lil Eddie (Rita Ora, Maluma) and more.

Watch this space as 2023 is set to bring more irresistible new music from this rising popstar.
