Nao Yoshioka’s ‘Stuck Wit U’ is a bittersweet love song embracing a new form of love unbound by dependence but founded in freedom. Featuring the Grammy-winning duo Blue Lab Beats, the beats are sophisticated, the electric piano is mesmerizing, and the vocals are dreamy, making it the perfect summer night tune.

Created on her inspirational trip to London in a studio session with Blue Lab Beats, it’s the culmination of their long supportive relationship and is sure to captivate listeners with its heartfelt lyrics and soulful sound.

While celebrating the 10th anniversary of her debut in 2022, Nao continued to expand her global activities from her base in Tokyo, with recent performances in the Netherlands and the UK, followed by a guest appearance at the newly-opened BLUE NOTE PLACE in Tokyo.

She is currently looking forward to performing at the 2023 Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta and returning to Europe in the summer for shows at New Morning in Paris, The Jazz Cafe London, and TivoliVredenburg Club9 in the Netherlands.

The supportive relationship between the two has continued uninterrupted since 2017, and the long awaited ‘Stuck Wit U‘ is the culmination of their years of friendship.

Nao Yoshioka is a Japanese soul singer whose music combines elements of classic soul, R&B, and jazz to create a sound that is both timeless and modern.

Born in Osaka, Japan, Nao grew up in a creative household, with her parents encouraging her and her sisters to explore their artistic talents. Her passion for music began at a young age, leading her to sing in a band while in school. She was drawn to the soulful sounds of artists like Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin and began developing her own unique style.

Since her single ‘Make the Change’ was released in 2012, she quickly gained critical acclaim for her soulful, heartfelt performances. She has been lauded by several indie soul music veterans, including Grammy- winning singer/songwriter Gordon Chambers, the “King of Indie Soul”, Eric Roberson, and songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Khari Mateen (Jill Scott, The Roots).
