On July 21, 2003, 18-year-old Dizzee Rascal released his debut album “Boy In Da Corner” through XL Recordings. Little did he know that the 15-track album would win the Mercury award, become the first ever platinum selling British rap album and lay the foundations for Grime.

XL Recordings is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Dizzee Rascal’s groundbreaking debut album Boy In Da Corner with the release of a two volume deluxe edition containing 14 rare and previously unreleased tracks, in addition to the original album. The digital release of the album is next Friday, July 21. Fans can now pre-order the 12″ vinyl version, which will be released on November 3. Street Fighter” is the first volume 2 song of Boy In Da Corner (20th Anniversary Edition) to be released. Dizzee Rascal’s “Street Fighter” freestyle became a legendary myth of the UK Grime scene after it ripped through the ether of pirate radio and underground rave sound systems. It was only available on a rare 12” white label, but is getting an official digital release today.
