BLONDES DELIVER THEIR CAPTIVATING NEW SINGLE “BEAUTIFUL WORLD” OUT TODAY

‘IN SEPARATION’ EP OUT JULY 14TH – PRE-SAVE HERE

UPCOMING SHOWS WITH INHALER AND MOUNT JOY

After the rousing success of their recent singles “Love In The Afternoon” and “The Basement“, which have since been supported by BBC Radio 1 Future Artists with Jack Saunders, Gemma Bradley’s BBC Introducing Show, and Dave Monks’ Introducing show on BBC Radio Merseyside, as well as countless Editorial playlists across Spotify, Apple and Amazon, Nottingham’s indie-rock band Blondes continue the support for their new EP ‘In Separation‘ with the captivating new offering “Beautiful World“.

Capturing more of that warm and invigorating aesthetic they have been developing in recent years, “Beautiful World” sees them pursue a beautifully rich and immersive atmosphere throughout. Opting for a more euphoric and airy appeal this time around, their newest outing continues their ascent as one of the more mesmerising names emerging right now.

Speaking about “Beautiful World“, Alex from Blondes said, “Beautiful World feels like our first proper pop song. It’s my favourite that we’ve written so far. It’s about our relationship with our environment and each other. We wrote it to speak not just for ourselves but to anyone that finds themselves looking around at our world and wondering just how we’ve become so disconnected from one another and the planet. We hope you like it.

Following the rapturous support for their 2021 collection ‘Out The Neighbourhood‘, Blondes knew that their next steps had extremely big boots to fill. Produced in parts by Rich Turvey and Antony Genn, the new EP ‘In Separation‘ sees them showcase some of their most passionate songwriting to date, capturing a warm and effervescent tone in the process.

Adding about the new EP, they said, “Our new EP ‘In Separation’ is a collection of songs written and recorded over the past two years. It’s a project that explores the ways in which we become disconnected from one another, taking you on an emotional journey through separation to reconciliation. It speaks to the ways we live with and without each other. We feel it reflects more of the breadth of our songwriting than our first project, with us having matured a little both personally and musically since “Coming of Age” and our “Out the Neighbourhood” EP.”
