ALI, born and raised in a quaint town in west Catalonia, Spain, made the bold move to London at 18 to pursue her passion for songwriting in the vibrant heart of Europe’s arts culture. The inspiration behind “Lonely” stems from a universal theme: the struggle with judgment and the weight of decision-making. ALI explains, “That moment when you ask for help and everyone’s like ‘anything you decide will be the right choice,’ and when you finally go for it, everyone judges it and has something to say about it or would’ve done it differently.”
The track, created two years ago, was a visceral response to a difficult moment in ALI’s life.
