CLEAN OUT LOUIS INVITE YOU ON A MANIC POP TRIP WITH NEW SINGLE ‘HOLD ME’

The experimental Copenhagen pop-duo embarks on a hop-on tourist tour of the mind with a vibrant and catchy new track ahead of their debut EP.

Clean Out Louis’ new single follows last year’s breakout singles ‘Foreigner’ and ‘I’m In Love’. On ‘Hold Me‘, the Copenhagen newcomers continue to blend raw charm with experimental soundscapes, leaning into manic “la la la” choruses over genre-defying production. The result is a track that’s as emotionally complex as it is irresistibly catchy.

‘Hold Me’ is kind of like a hop-on tourist bus ride through the light and dark layers of the mind,” says Sylvester Zabello“It’s a musical trip past the good and the bad, where you meet yourself, get surprised, and remember things you’d forgotten — even things that mattered more than you realized.”

Bandmate Mingus Runge adds:

In our world, boundaries are fluid. We love mixing genres, instruments, and sounds that shouldn’t go together — but somehow do. The EP is every weird and wonderful path we’ve gone down together without knowing where we’d end up. It can be haunting. It can be catchy as hell. And it’s time to set it all free.

Clean Out Louis are already turning heads both in Denmark and abroad. Their previous singles were spotlighted by tastemaker platforms including COLORS and Office Magazine, while Danish leading music magazine GAFFA compared their style to pioneering Britpop acts like Stereo MC’s and Gorillaz.

Beyond the duo, Zabello also performs as guitarist for alternative pop group Høker, who gained national traction with their radio hit ‘Ud Af Dig’. Runge, meanwhile, debuted as the drummer for Bo Madsen’s (formerly of Mew) acclaimed indie children’s project Turbolens.

‘Hold Me’ drops May 16th, with the debut EP ‘Clean Sheet’ from Clean Out Louis arriving May 23rd on all major platforms.
