ANNOUNCES FIRST NORTH AMERICAN TOUR IN 14 YEARS
On the heels of a stellar year marked by sold-out residencies and major music festival performances, WU LYF kicks off 2026 with their single “Tib St. Tabernacle,” an eleven-minute track that marks a bold new chapter for the band.
First conceived during sessions on Manchester’s Tib Street, “Tib St. Tabernacle” is a slow-burning, hypnotic track that unfolds patiently before reaching an explosive psych-rock tinged conclusion. Produced by Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3), the track captures WU LYF at their most expansive – ritualistic, communal, and as unconcerned with convention as ever before.
Their first offering of the year is available through the band’s L Y F community on WORLDUNITE.ORG, where members can access new music, regular journal entries, and early access to tickets, without intermediaries. The track will also be available via Bandcamp and Nina Protocol, reflecting the band’s continued commitment to artist-led distribution and alternative economic models, as none of their music is available on major music streaming services.
Their single is paired with the news of their first North American tour since 2012. Launching this April, they’ll bring their singular stage presence to cities such as Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Los Angeles, among others. See full dates below.
WU LYF’s 2025 was filled with sold-out yet intimate residencies in Manchester and London, a headline performance at Manchester International Festival, a summer of European festival appearances, a headline slot at MIDI Festival in France, and a secret closing set at End Of The Road. What started with a bold return quickly grew to something larger – a reminder of the strength of the community that surrounds them.
