Filth on Acid keeps up the momentum in early 2025 with another irresistible techno bomb, this time from VE/RA.

Dutch talent VE/RA has made a huge impact since breaking through in 2022. Her explosive cuts have had support from top-tier artists like Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Deborah de Luca and more, and she has also topped the Beatport Hype Charts Top 100 and has garnered over 1.5 million streams on Spotify.

She has already released on this label and now impresses again. Dance Therapyquickly casts a spell with its tight, kicking groove and warbling acid line. It’s dry, raw and comes with funky drum patterns as well as sensuous vocals that bring an erotic edge. ‘Ten Times’ then comes doused in nerve jangling synths and hard, rocking drums. Demonic vocals and firing lasers all add to the impact of the trip.

This is another standout EP from this new school star.

VE/RA is one of techno’s most electrifying new talents, known for her high-energy sets and relentless, driving sound. Her breakout moment came in 2022 with Love & Peace, a collaboration with Rocketman that hit #1 on the Beatport Hype Charts and gained support from Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer, and more. In December 2024, she made her Drumcode debut with Can’t Get Enough, followed by Hypnotized on CODEX and Dance Therapy on Filth On Acid. On stage, VE/RA has already played at Tomorrowland, EDC Mexico, Mysteryland, Marquee Singapore, Ritter Butzke, and more, sharing the booth with techno giants like Reinier Zonneveld, Nina Kraviz, Alignment, and 999999999. With an unstoppable drive and a growing catalog of explosive releases, VE/RA is a name to watch in techno.
