The in-demand hitmakers continue their streak with two-track release that blends tribal percussion, warm chords, and cutting-edge electronic textures
A DJ/producer duo united by their shared love of piano, percussion, and tribal rhythms, Sparrow & Barbossa’s new EP spotlights the pair’s seamless signature blend of organic instruments and electronic textures. Both leaning into afro house, ‘You Go’, featuring Sebastian Rivero, has warm chords and muffled vocals studded with crystalline glass-like synths, while ‘Float’, featuring Brooklyn’s BAYLI, is a steady, bright, catchy club anthem.
Sparrow & Barbossa is the artist project of DJ and Producer duo Bryan Coletta (Switzerland) and Emiliano Haberli (Uruguay). Since their first collaborations in Madrid, Spain, Sparrow & Barbossa continue to bring together their love of piano, percussion, and tribal rhythms to create a fusion between organic and electronic progressive sounds.
The son of Jazz music legend Francis Coletta, Bryan has an innate ability to both create and curate an original sound. Emiliano is a classically trained percussionist with a long musical history as resident DJ at Space Ibiza. Together, the duo has proven to be one of the most proficient and versatile partnerships in all of dance music. With several Beatport #1s, their songs span across genres, languages, and cultures.
Over the years, Sparrow & Barbossa have refined their sound through live performances and collaborations with notable artists like Sia, Rampa (on the hit track ‘Champion’), Deadmau5, Jamie Jones, and PJ Sin Suela. With high-profile appearances at Coachella, Tomorrowland Belgium, Circoloco Ibiza, Shellona in Saint Tropez, III Points in Miami, and beyond, they continue to cement their status as emerging leaders in dance music.
