Following the success of his debut EP, Art & Soul, The Josh Barry Experience returns with his highly anticipated second EP, Pride & Purpose. To celebrate, The Josh Barry Experience is coming to MOTH Club on Friday, 28th November, for an exclusive EP launch live show.
Pride, the first single on his upcoming EP, will be released on October 31st. About the first single, Josh Barry says:
“At its heart, ‘Pride’ is about the human struggle to balance self-belief with humility. It speaks to anyone who has had to hold their head high when the world — or someone close — tries to push them down. Both deeply personal and universally relatable, the song is a reminder that vulnerability is its own kind of strength.”
Second single Armour is a track which delves into the depths of love and loss. With cathartic choruses and heartfelt lyrics, the track – which will be released on November 14th – is a testament to Josh Barry’s vocal prowess and emotional songwriting
Drawing inspiration from the soulful sounds of the 1970s, Pride & Purpose blends vintage soul with contemporary innovation, creating a boundary-pushing sound that is uniquely its own.
The Josh Barry Experience has had the honour of supporting renowned artists including Rag’n’Bone Man on his UK tour, jazz virtuoso Cory Henry, soul legend Lizz Wright, Jon Allen, the House Gospel Choir, and more. Josh has also sold out shows across London at iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Lower Third, and KOKO’s exclusive Ellen Bar, as well as headlining performances across the Netherlands.
To celebrate the EP release, The Josh Barry Experience will perform a full band launch show at MOTH Club featuring special guests Britain’s Got Talent finalist Ace Clvrk, London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist edbl, and emerging pop-soul force NAHLI.
With momentum building and critical acclaim growing, The Josh Barry Experience is well on its way to becoming a legacy act of this generation.
