After 2024’s ‘Skip’, the Swedish House Mafia duo reunite on a cinematic techno cut featuring Namasenda’s razor-sharp vocals, out on the new label SUPERHUMAN MUSIC
Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso re-unite for ‘No Enemies’, the new single out on 24th April, featuring vocals from Swedish artist, Namasenda.
On ‘No Enemies’, their first collab since 2024’s ‘Skip’ and the SHM x The Weeknd track ‘Closing Night’, the Grammy-nominated producers push into darker, techno-leaning territory. A sinister, bouncing bassline drives the track, locking in step with Namasenda’s rapid-fire vocals. Add in soaring, growling synths, and you’ve got a high-drama cut destined to hit hard.
This follows the announcement last week of SUPERHUMAN.MUSIC, the new Stockholm-based label home of iconic dance trio Swedish House Mafia. Heralded as “a space for ideas” and “a platform for those who create”, the label’s mission is to “innovate boldly and redefine the standard.” Stay tuned for much more.
Fellow Swedish House Mafia member Axwell played the track to a raucous 60,000-strong crowd at his Ultra Music Festival set in Miami on 29th March. See footage here.
In 2023, Ingrosso teamed up with PARISI and Steve Angello on the bouncing bass house hit ‘U Ok?’ (5M+ streams), followed by ‘Flood’ last October, his first solo release in eight years. His earlier hits, including the 2012 collaboration with Tommy Trash, ‘Reload,’ and the smash single ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’ with Alesso, have helped reshape the electronic dance music landscape, amassing hundreds of millions of streams.
Since 2013, Steve Angello’s established his solo sound, featuring two solo albums – Wild Youth in 2016, featuring collaborations with artists like Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons and Dougy Mandagi of The Temper Trap, and then the brilliant Human in 2018. In 2024, Steve released the single ‘Hooligans’, preceded by the warehouse-ready rave anthem ‘ME’. This year, he’s released the catchy essential tune ‘Darkness In Me’, a collab with Jonas Rathman’s Modern Tales alias.
After spending her teenage years playing in bands, Swedish artist Namasenda’s breakthrough came in 2017 with the release of her debut EP hot_babe_93. The project generated buzz across Sweden and earned her a performance at the 2017 P3 Guld Awards.
Not long after, she connected with UK producer A. G. Cook – now a BRIT Awards 2025 Producer of the Year – sparking a series of collaborations (‘Dare’, ‘Wanted’) and securing her a spot on the roster of his groundbreaking label, PC Music. In 2023, Namasenda signed with the label Year0001, releasing her second EP, Ambrosia, which she performed during her Boiler Room debut that year. In 2024, she toured the US and UK extensively, and this year has teamed up with horse of the moment, horsegiirL for their fast-paced hyperpop-style single, ‘giirL Math’.
‘No Enemies’, the dark and dangerous new sdingle from Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, featuring the incredible Namasenda, drops via SUPERHUMAN on 24th April. Keep your eyes on superhuman.music for more extraordinary landings on Earth in 2025.
