Arriving in time for summer, London-hailing rap duo Rylo & Le Prof have shared their highly anticipated debut single, “Back of The Whip”. Curating the sounds behind some of your favourite UK artists including hit-maker Sainté, Rylo & Le Prof have placed their career centre-frame sharing a high octane single that embraces various corners of Black British music.
Harnessed with Le Prof’s electrifying production, “Back of The Whip” infuses elements of UK Dance / Garage with Hip-Hop, to create an infectious high energy single made for the dancefloor. Glazing the production with his slick pen game and razor-sharp flows, Rylo sits centre stage amidst the pulsing production creating the ultimate wheel-up worthy track. Not one to shy away from experimentation, the duo flaunt their ability to merge sounds seamlessly. Posing as a taste of what’s yet to come, Rylo & Le Prof are claiming their moment.
When asked about the single Le Prof commented, “Back of the Whip was the first track that we decided to put out. We didn’t even clock that session, was where everything clicked. Rylo brought the heat, I brought the smoke — and the vibe did the rest.”
Rylo added, “We weren’t even trying to force it. Just tryna make something people are gonna be in party mode for– the track basically wrote itself! Straight from the backseat to the booth.”

Formed by two friends, Rylo [vocals] and Le Prof [production] the duo have been crafting sounds behind the scenes for several key names in music including UK hit-maker Sainté. Pulling back all control, the pair have decided it’s their time to shine. ‘Back of The Whip’ marks their debut release; a high-octane blend of UK garage, dance, and hip-hop. Rylo commands the mic and Le Prof controls the decks, together they’re bringing smart samples and serious energy to the dancefloor.
