+ WRAPPING UP SOLD OUT AUSTRALIAN TOUR THIS WEEKEND BEFORE KICKING OFF FIRST EVER NORTH AMERICAN TOUR IN JULY
SOLD OUT SHOWS IN LA, TORONTO, HOUSTON, ATLANTA, AND NYC
Today, buzzing singer-songwriter Esha Tewari has unveiled her third EP “wraith”. Heralded by the singles “million times”, “empty pages”, “things i want”, “you were mine” and “waltz”, it’s joined by the new song “summer in december”, which feels like the perfect final addition to the collection. Highlighting the evolution of her acoustic leaning indie-folk sound, this EP cements her global one-to-watch status.
“summer in december is my favorite track on the EP. i wanted to capture all the nostalgia that comes with the scent of the ocean and the memories that come back of people you have loved before. with moving to new york, i have been reminiscing lots on the things about my home, and people that i will miss. if you listen closely there are moments of people laughing and singing together from videos i took with my friends over the years. i hope this song allows for people to teleport back to a simpler time for just a couple minutes” Esha shares of the song “summer in december”.
This weekend, Esha will wrap up her sold out Australian tour in Perth and Adelaide. This comes off the back of a sold out headline Australian tour in November 2024.
With sellout shows already under her belt, Esha embarks on her North American “wraith tour” throughout July and August. Beginning in San Francisco on July 3rd, the 17-date run will wrap up in Washington DC on August 9th. Her fans have already sold out stops in LA, Toronto, Houston, Atlanta (including a venue upgrade), and NYC.
Esha Tewari (pronounced ee-sha teh-wah-ri) started releasing music in February 2024 after posting covers and original songs on TikTok. She gained traction with the independent release of her single ‘beautiful boy‘. Quickly growing a fanbase that she affectionately calls “Tewarians”, she’s amassed over 23 million global streams, 842K monthly listeners on Spotify, 261K Instagram followers and 275K TikTok followers. Over the space of the year she has released the EP’s “i can” and “Better Off”.
