Speaking about archangel, midwxst shares, “archangel is more than a project to me. It’s a representation of change and transformation from all that I’ve experienced in the last couple of years. The music on this project talks about my mental health, my friendships, and my family. There is a lot of hurt and growth – this project is a testament to the importance of healing and moving forward.”

It’s about recognizing that we are all a ‘work in progress’ and I’m excited about the man I am becoming – the things that I don’t need to change and the things I need to love about who I am.”
archangel follows midwxst’s previous project BACK IN ACTION 4.0. the latest in midwxst’s mixtape series known for its apocalyptic production and explosive vocal performances, as well as his critically acclaimed debut album E3, which provided listeners a path forward through relationships, identity formation, and the internet.
