“TOMORROW IS PERFECT” OUT NOW VIA A24 MUSIC
Following the release of his new single “Tomorrow is Perfect” via A24 Music, mark william lewis announces his headline UK, EU and North America tour launching this fall. Starting this October in Belgium, he’ll be taking his poetically sharp, yet texturally layered sound as well as his celebrated self-released projects on the road with stops in Paris, Barcelona, and London, among others. He’ll be joined by Jordan Playfair, Ashley Plomer, and Tony Bontana on select dates across Europe before heading out on a 17-date tour run across the US and Canada with Samba Jean-Baptiste.
His new single “Tomorrow is Perfect” is emblematic of mark william lewis’ gifts and underscores the significance of Lewis being the first artist signed under A24 Music. The song conjures a vivid sense of place over its six minute run-time, whilst also leaving space for the listener to fill in the blanks. His evocative, bass-led voice provides the ideal foil for the initially sparse instrumentation that comes into the song’s climax. It is a deeply poetic track, one that unfurls with hypnotic grace and heralds the arrival of a singular talent.
Lewis says, “I wrote Tomorrow is Perfect at home in London. I wanted to capture and describe all of the images and places that meant something to me at the time and collage them together in one song.”
Over the past few years, Lewis has become a fixture in more innovative spaces of London’s live music scene, with his performances and music becoming a word-of-mouth success. This led to sold out US debut shows at Elsewhere and Public Records (NYC) and The Echo (LA) last year and a full headline show at a sold-out ICA earlier this year, before he embarked on a full UK tour. See below for his newly announced live dates across the UK, EU and North America.
