Quincy Tell Em’s Bio
A key soundsmith who has aided in shaping the UK’s trap-wave scene, Quincy Tell Em is the self-taught producer behind many of your favourite rappers including Nines, Headie One, Nafe Smallz, Potter Payper, and more. Forging his come up alongside UK hit-maker M Huncho, the London native has accumulated over 600 million streams as well as 4x Gold and 7x Silver-certified plaques which further emphasise his influence across British music. Surpassing the nation’s border into international territories, Quincy has undergone 7 sold-out tours across the UK, Europe, America and Australia.
Growing up in Willesden, North-West London, Quincy was immersed into music from a youthful age. Watching his father play multiple instruments and perform in a band, it was inevitable that one day he would lead in his footsteps. Infatuated with the art-form, it wasn’t until Quincy entered College that his interest in Music Production had grown substantially. Listening to American Trap artists like Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka, Quincy often found himself fascinated by record producer Lex Luger’s work. Watching endless videos on YouTube, Luger’s creativity became a notable influence in the development of Quincy’s skills.
Later connecting with UK hit-maker M Huncho, the pair formed a musical chemistry that speaks for itself, what started out as an innocent song introduction “Quincy Tell Em” turned into a globally recognised producer tag, followed by a string of acclaimed releases including ‘Utopia’, ‘Mediocre’, ‘Come Up’ and many more. Forging an honorable reputation as one of the leading producers in British rap over the course of 7 years, Quincy has built an ever-growing fan base that’s gained over 152 million views across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube as well as a brand collaboration with Samsung.
