Arriving in a low poly universe designed by 3D artist Jasper Golding, we find Sonikku waiting in the rain at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Broadway. Across his forthcoming new project, Sonikku tells the story of two starcrossed lovers who spend a fateful night falling in love to a soundtrack of pounding hardstyle and eurodance.
‘Talk 2 Me’ is the project’s opening act. Inspired by the tangled webs of connections that we call “nightlife”, Sonikku follows the two lovers on their descent into madness.
The single arrives on UTOPIA, a haven for rising UK dance artists founded by Radio 1’s Jaguar, shortly after Sonikku joined the lineup at their Keep Hush label takeover in Peckham’s Carpet Shop last month. Positioned among club music’s most creative producers, SONIKKU is ascending since the release of his latest The World is Bleak and Sometimes Beautiful EP and his recent flip of ‘Lost Your Faith’ from international pop diva Ava Max.
First gaining prominence with his thundering ‘Sweat’ single, beloved and remixed by SOPHIE, SONIKKU has released with labels like Steel City Dance Discs and Bella Union, alongside his own self-releases and collaborations with partiboi69, DJ_Dave and Deto Black.

Across three tracks of future-facing trance and hardstyle, he recalls the breakdown of the lovers’ relationship and their descent into madness (and being left on read).
