Breakout indie pop artist Kevian Kraemer has announced the long awaited arrival of his new EP, Jersey or Mars, arriving everywhere via Atlantic Records on Friday, May 16. Pre-saves are available now HERE.
Kraemer will commemorate the highly anticipated EP with his first ever headline tour – The Jersey or Mars Tour. The tour kicks off on July 8 at Boston, MA’s historic Middle East Upstairs and then travels the country to a very special home state finale set for Asbury Park, NJ’s House of Independents on August 1. Highlights include shows at such famed venues as New York City’s Mercury Lounge (July 9), Philadelphia, PA’s The Lounge at World Cafe Live (July 10), Salt Lake City, UT’s Kilby Court (July 18), Los Angeles, CA’s The Moroccan Lounge (July 21), and Dallas, TX’s Club Dada (July 24). Jersey or Mars sees Kevian Kraemer exploring life’s key moments of transition – leaving home, watching relationships shift, and stepping into the unknown. At its core, the EP captures the pivotal moments of growing up, where nostalgia meets uncertainty. Indeed, the title itself reflects a core question: Do you stay in the familiar (New Jersey), or chase something completely new (Mars)?
Jersey or Mars marks another milestone in what is shaping up to be a standout year for Kraemer, following the recent releases of “Forever” and “Don’t You Dare” — both available everywhere now. Produced by SameSame (a.k.a. Blake Mares and Rob Cohen), known for their work with Portugal. The Man, Cage the Elephant, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Imagine Dragons, Khalid, Shawn Mendes, Young the Giant, and many more), “Forever” is accompanied by a captivating visualizer, shot along New York’s Rockaway Beach. Meanwhile, “Don’t You Dare,” quickly became a fan favorite, due to a string of social media posts across Kraemer’s popular social media. The track is joined by an official music video, directed by Jack Alexander Cohen and streaming now on YouTube.
2024 saw Kraemer exploring the complexities of modern dating with the invigorating “Dopamine,” which was accompanied an official lyric video. Last year also saw the release of Kraemer’s debut EP, Seventeen, highlighted by his breakthrough hit single, “Attention,” which quickly amassed more than 10M worldwide streams and counting. Kraemer followed the track’s success with a tender acoustic rendition, “Attention (Stripped),” paired with an official music video that showcased the unfettered emotion behind the song.
ABOUT KEVIAN KRAEMER:
Carried by breezy waves of live instrumentation, buoyant production, and instantly infectious choruses, Kevian Kraemer’s music sounds a lot like an endless summer. His bright mix of alternative, indie, and pop alternates between the kind of excitement usually brought on by June’s final school bell, sparks of energy perfect for a July night sky, and a fleeting longing typically reserved for August’s last days. Growing up in New Jersey, music surrounded him from every angle. Kevian spent busy days on the soccer field, wrestling and surfing. Taking drum lessons at Lakehouse Music Academy in Asbury Park, NJ, he recognized his calling. His arsenal expanded to include piano, saxophone, bass, and ukulele. In high school, he finally opted to write and record original tunes of his own on GarageBand. He initially gained traction with “Rug,” “Sweater,” and “Buddy.” In 2024, a snippet of “Fly” went viral on TikTok leading to nearly 2 million global streams. He served up his debut Seventeen EP during the summer which yielded the standout “Attention,” and has generated 10M million global streams.
