Fresh from that historical Coachella Blood Oath B8B DJ set, J. Worra drops her 2nd single of the year and her debut on the coveted Three Six Zero Recordings
Chicago-born J. Worra releases her new single, ‘Crushin’’, featuring singer-songwriter Benni Ola, on 2nd May via Three Six Zero Recordings.
‘Crushin’’ is a summer anthem in waiting. The track’s about having an intense, all-consuming crush, breaking your own rules, feeling it in your chest, and obsessing over someone so hard they become your new fixation. It’s chaotic, emotional, and stuck on repeat, just like the feeling itself. Featuring the killer vocal hook from Benni Ola, who’s worked with Channel Tres, TokiMonsta, and more, it expands on J. Worra’s signature blend of classic Chicago house and modern techy dance sounds.
Benni Ola’s gorgeous, husky vocals glide over pretty piano and crisp house beats, working with a bulging bassline and intense laser-like synth stabs.
“The second I heard Benni’s vocals, I was hooked,” says J. Worra AKA Jamie Sitter. “It reminded me of some of the records I fell in love with back in the early 2010s. I loved making this one, and I hope that listeners get the same hit of nostalgia I got when writing it.”
With several sets across the day, J. Worra made a huge impact at Coachella on Saturday, April 12th. In what was a historical highlight for the LA-based festival, Jamie teamed up with dance stars Sara Landry, Indira Paganotto, Amelie Lens, VNSSA, Mary Droppinz, Coco & Breezy, Jenna Shaw and Bad Girl Bailey to debut the all-female DJ supergroup Blood Oath on the DoLab stage.
