NORTH AMERICAN TOUR KICKS OFF NEXT MONTH
Today, burgeoning alt-pop singer-songwriter and producer Erin LeCount returns with her striking new single, “I BELIEVE,” out now via Atlantic Records. The release follows her recent singles “808 HYMN” and “MACHINE GHOST,” further cementing her status as one of the most compelling new voices in alternative pop.
With “I BELIEVE,” Erin continues to define a singular artistic vision that is entirely her own. Fully self-produced, the track pairs expansive, synth-driven production with her hauntingly beautiful vocals and introspective lyricism. Hovering between art-pop and baroque-pop, “I BELIEVE” is both grand and intimate resulting in an emotionally charged meditation.
Erin has been teasing “I BELIEVE” across social media and debuted the track live during the first leg of her emphatic, sold-out La Lune Tour late last year.
About “I BELIEVE” Erin LeCount said, “‘I BELIEVE’ is a cynical, existential song about apathy, passiveness in your own life, disillusionment with the state of the world, what it feels like to turning to every possible external source to tell you how to feel and exist – religion, self help books, magazines, astrology, lovers, antidepressants. I wrote it about a pursuit of perfection, faith and meaning soundtracked to relentless synth pop production.”
Also out today is a live performance video of “I BELIEVE,” taken at Erin LeCount’s recent sold-out headline show at London’s KOKO. The video was shot and edited by long-time collaborators Erin, Sam Taylor-Edwards and Kit Dale, who both worked on the music videos for “808 HYMN” and “MACHINE GHOST.” The video is available to view below.
In December 2025, Erin LeCount embarked upon her sensational UK and IE La Lune Tour, which saw her play to sold-out crowds in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, and London. In February 2026, Erin will take the La Lune Tour tour to North America, where she will play cities including Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles. Erin LeCount is a 22-year-old self-taught artist and producer. A visionary sonic architect and the sole writer and producer of her music, her sound ranges from luscious baroque-pop arrangements to alluring gothic-pop. At the foreground of her music are diaristic lyrics and captivating synths which offer an enchanting interplay of vulnerability and power. The themes within her music explore everything from identity to relationships and the meaning of life. Erin’s influences include Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Lorde, Imogen Heap, Charli xcx, and Sampha.
