Emerging British singer-songwriter Elle Massimo comes in hot with her first single of the year RED SKIES. This sensual R&B infused offering reflects on the moments of nostalgia we all face after dark when that one person we no longer speak to springs to mind. RED SKIES is available now on your streaming service of choice via APOLLO Distribution.
The vibrant production is comprised of Canada’s Conor Seidel (cuts include: KatieTupper, Charlotte Cardin) & British London based Producer-Artist Amelia Rose. The collaboration focuses heavily on delivering live fronted production paired with modern RnB elements. Vocals were tracked at the Spotify Studios in Metropolis, Chiswick & also in Hackney Studios, Hoxton.
Red Skies follows in the footsteps of Elle’s latest string of offerings ‘POV’, being one of these, produced by Sam Posener, a London based Multi-instrumentalist & songwriter garnering cuts with the likes of; James Vickery, Cat Burns & Kadeem Tyrell to mention a few. The track was championed by the editorial team at Wonderland, landing in their weekly ‘Wonderlist” selects, adopted airplay on BBC Intro South & landed playlist placement on “One’s to Watch” #nowwatching spotify playlist.
Massimo cites inspiration from artists such as Snoh Aalegra, Leon Thomas & Sasha Keable, “powerhouses of whom make modern music feel timeless”, stating that their individual catalogs acted as references within the string of sessions she undertook whilst creating this new music that she is sharing with us in 2025.
