ELKAN JOINS BIG BEAT RECORDS, LED BY CRAIG KALLMAN
AI ENHANCED MUSIC VIDEO FOR BABY TEETH STREAMING NOW
After years of shaping the sound of modern music from behind the boards, elkan steps into the spotlight today with the release of his highly anticipated debut EP, Baby Bundle, available now via Toibox/Big Beat/Atlantic. The project also marks his recent signing to Big Beat Records, the influential label founded by Craig Kallman.
The project is introduced with a colorful, AI-enhanced music video featuring baby elkan for the EP’s lead single, “Baby Teeth.” While the visual incorporates AI, much of the creative direction – from the performances to the face-mapping – comes directly from elkan himself. The result is a bold creative statement and a symbolic rebirth for an artist long recognized for his influence but only now stepping fully into the spotlight.
Born to Sierra Leonean heritage and raised on global sounds, elkan has been making music since childhood, evolving from a precocious beatmaker to one of today’s most in-demand producers. With the Baby Bundle, he aims to bring his audience joy, movement, and freedom – music that makes people dance, feel good, and enjoy life without overthinking. The EP signals the beginning of a new creative era, one defined by voice, vision, and heart.
2025 has been a career-defining year for elkan. He produced Rihanna’s “Friend of Mine” from The Smurfs Movie soundtrack, produced and vocally performed on Jon Bellion’s title track “Father Figure,” and produced and vocally performed on Yeat’s viral hit “Put It ONG,” which went on to soundtrack the global trailer for Call of Duty. He also produced Drake’s fan-favorite track “Nokia” and was recently honored for his contributions to music at this year’s Variety Hitmakers Brunch.
Further cementing his industry footprint, elkan launched Toibox Publishing, a joint venture with Avex Music Group, expanding his creative empire and amplifying his commitment to developing the next generation of talent.

About elkan:
elkan is a Sierra Leonean artist, producer, and songwriter whose genre-blending sound is rapidly shaping today’s musical landscape. Raised between the UK and Sierra Leone, he grew up surrounded by music – singing in choirs, taking acting and piano classes, and eventually teaching himself production after discovering FL Studio.
After returning to the UK to study music production, elkan began landing early placements and later signed with Jon Bellion’s production company, sharpening his craft at Bellion’s creative camp in the Hamptons. A period of personal struggle led him to retreat to Sierra Leone, where he turned a family friend’s silversmith factory into a makeshift studio. There, he channeled his experiences into the music that would become his debut EP, The Baby Bundle.
The EP blends global influences – pop-forward songwriting, westernized African rhythms, and emotionally charged storytelling – featuring contributions from his sister TK and showcasing elkan’s evolving artistic voice. After playing the project for Atlantic Records Chief Music Officer Craig Kallman, he was immediately signed to the label.
Beyond his solo work, elkan is building a creative ecosystem through Toibox, his joint venture publishing company recently launched in partnership with Avex Music Group. With plans to expand into fashion and other creative disciplines, elkan is focused on shaping culture across mediums while bringing joy, movement, and escapism to audiences through his music.
