EKKSTACY shares the final offering ahead of his forthcoming third studio album with new single “head in the clouds”. Stacy’s latest track is an atmospheric rock anthem, flooded with distortion that touches on some of the formative shoegaze references that Stacy has added to his repertoire. The song is accompanied by a Gilbert Trejo-directed music video, which you can check out below. That embrace of untapped sounds embodies the maturation of the ascendant 23-year old, still growing into his stature as one of the most exciting young voices in rock music. EKKSTACY’s third album FOREVER, is out May 16th via UnitedMasters (Dine Alone / Canada). The album is also available for pre-order on vinyl now at ekkstacy.lnk.to/forever-vinyl.

His FOREVER Tour will find him playing the album in full across North America in July. Preceded by a set at San Diego’s Wonderfront Festival, EKKSTACY will play 20 shows across Canada and the US this Summer, concluding on the West Coast before he plays a series of summer festivals including Osheaga Fest (Montreal), Sziget Fest (Budapest), Summer Well Fest (Bucharest) and Color Fest (Calabria). Remaining tickets for EKKSTACY’s Forever Tour are available HERE.

While retaining the signature off-the-wall energy of his discography, FOREVER channels that relentless angst back into music itself, delving further into emo influences like Japandroids and Remo Drive. He’s telling similar stories of youthful struggles as he’s done on past albums, this time with a refined perspective focused on overarching themes of the experiences and lessons that lead to newfound maturity. With FOREVER, Stacy is ascending and refreshed, with a strong command of his sound and utilizing all of his artistic strengths to their fullest potential, demonstrating a wider range with singles like “keep my head down”, “she will be missed” and album title track “forever.”

EKKSTACY’s busy 2024 saw him breaking new ground with his self-titled second album and standout lead single “bella,” which 032c called “infectious and jubilant”. The year found him surpassing 300 million streams on breakout track “i walk this earth all by myself,” gracing the cover of GQ Hype, landing on Spotify Top 10 Debuts chart on both sides of the Atlantic, and touring around the globe on his own and alongside Blink-182, and the $uicideboy$ respectively.
