cktrl (pronounced “control”) is a South London-born multi-instrumentalist and producer of Jamaican and Montserratian heritage, known for blending classical, ambient, jazz, and R&B into emotionally rich, genre-defying compositions. With acclaimed releases like Robyn, zero, and yield, he explores themes of love, healing, vulnerability, and Black identity. A self-taught producer and classically trained clarinetist, cktrl is reshaping music through a deeply personal, culturally rooted sonic lens.
