SONG AVAILABLE TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT ON DSPs

Phoenix’s By Storm, the duo of Injury Reserve’s RiTchie and Parker Corey, introduce their new song “In My Town” with its accompanying music video. The song will be available at midnight on all streaming services. The new visual, directed by Parker Corey centers on time spent on the road, channeling memories of places they’ve passed through with a droning atmospheric soundscape produced by Parker and anchored by RiTchie’s vocals, which alternate from crooning to sharp raps.

In February, By Storm released “Zig Zag”, their first offering of new music as the duo since first announcing the moniker in 2023. The single, another 7-minute sonic odyssey, provided a rich tapestry of different sonic textures and signaled the beginning of a new direction for RiTchie and Parker, which they unveiled to fans with their debut live show as By Storm in Phoenix in March. The duo proceeded to bring their new, experimental live set experience to dates in Austin, TX, Phoenix, New York City and will be playing a show in London at Club Cheek on September 27th.

Similar to the “Zig Zag” release, By Storm will also be releasing a special maxi single of “In My Town”, complete with exclusive music not available on streaming services, remixes, alternate versions of the song and more. The “In My Town” maxi single is available for digital purchase at by-storm.net/4.

RiTchie and Parker first introduced By Storm in 2023 with the release of “Double Trio”, their first release as a duo, which was paired with a video for the Injury Reserve track “Bye Storm”. The video concluded their work under the stage name Injury Reserve and memorialized Steppa J. Groggs, the third member of Injury Reserve who passed away in 2020.
