Filmed on the white beaches of the Dominican Republic, we watch as Ayo Beatz, S1mba, and Stee Ferrer are joined alongside voluptuous women as they celebrate the release of “On My Mind”. Infusing elements of Rap, R&B and Latin sounds, this irresistible track is introduced with an infectious hook courtesy of Stee Ferrer before Ayo Beatz and S1mba break through with their punching flows. Glazing the punching production effortlessly, each artist takes their time to glaze their respective signature styles atop, forming a sonically rich single that captures different corners of the world.
When asked about the release S1mba commented, “On My Mind is the type of song I’ve been missing in my playlist. So, when Ayo brought it to me it was a no-brainer. We are taking over summer with this one! Ayo is big bro, our work flow is the same so good music comes easy!”
Ayo Beatz added, “‘On My Mind’ came from a real place. I wanted to blend that early 2000s R&B feel with a fresh, global sound. It’s got those nostalgic elements but still feels current and fun, the kind of track you can run back all summer. Having S1mba on the Afro-R&B tip and Stee Ferrer bringing that smooth Spanish flavor was the perfect combo. Everything came together naturally, from the studio to the video shoot in the Dominican Republic. You can hear that magic in the music.”
Stee Ferrer said, “It’s one of those songs that stays with us, a song that gives you the feeling you already know it, and the best part is how it was created. We shot the video in the Caribbean (Dominican Republic.) It was such a magical way working with Ayobeatz everything flows organically and it’s so pleasant to work with him that everything seems easy!”
