Fresh off supporting American hit-maker Denzel Curry at his London show in Brixton’s O2 Academy, alt-rap trio Frozemode have made their return with their first release of the year for 2025, “LOOKING AT US”. The trio have positioned themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting acts to emerge, with a fresh take on rap and rock and a tenacious take on live performances. Gaining vast support along the way, namely, Clash Magazine, NME, DORK, KERRANG!, DIY, Crack, BBC Radio 1,  and more as well as taking to huge stages across  Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Reading and Leeds, and Download Festival,  Frozemode have carved a thrilling movement that pushes boundaries sonically and artistically, turning heads worldwide.

LOOKING AT US is underpinned with a core energy only found in a Frozemode track, layered with crunching guitars and pulsating drums.From its opening riff through to its raucous outro, it is fully live show ready and mosh pit driving. Speaking on the single and its meaning, Frozemode say, “We can’t help but get a few looks whenever we step outside together. Whether it’s at shows or just out and about. ‘LOOKING AT US’ is gritty, in your face and heavy. We wanted to double down with what we’ve been doing at our live shows, really capturing the energy and making a statement with this release. If people stare, we’ll give them something to look at.”

Taking the start of this year to ensure they are delivering the best music they can for their globally growing fanbase, the trio have been nestled in with London’s finest creatives across the alt space, from Olly Burden (The Prodigy), to Sam Matlock (WARGASM) and Charlie Russell (Kasabian, The Strypes), with “LOOKING AT US” representing a very exciting snapshot of what is to come.

The alt-rap trio Frozemode, made up of members I.V.GATLIN, Cho-Hollo, and Lisong, made their debut at the very end of 2022. Tenaciously imprinting on the live scene since their incarnation, the trio have joined US stars Joey Valence & Brae on a UK tour, supported Jelani Blackman, Dumb Buoys Fishing Club, performed at Fabric’s “Live & Direct” night – alongside Tiggs Da Author, Lauren Faith and Sam Gellaitry, and headlined Abbie McCarthy’s iconic ‘Karma Club Night’. Taking to the stage across the nation at various festivals including Reading and Leeds see here, 2000trees , The Great Escape, Barnstomper Festival, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend (BBC Introducing Stage) and several dates across the UK with rock band FIDLAR. More recently, the boys opened up for American rapper Denzel Curry at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, as well as making their debut at Face Down in Scala and Generation Misfits hosted by Why Generation.
